Massage
The massage treatments offered by Don Reznicek are both therapeutic and indulgently relaxing. Sessions are tailored to the needs of each patient individually. Massage appointments of 30, 60 or 90 minutes are available, or massage can be seemlessly combined with an acupuncture treatment. It is up to you, as the patient, to receive massage to only your areas of need or to your whole body, so that your massage time is distributed as you wish.
Various forms of bodywork are synthesized during each massage treatment, and will vary according to the client's needs. Acupressure is used to affect deep tissue and reduce chronic pain or tension. Chinese Massage, known as Tui Na, is especially useful in treating joint problems or to increase range of motion and circulation in the tendons and ligaments especially. Swedish massage with oil is included to harmonize and relax the muscles and joints following the other techniques. This form of integrated massage is extremely thorough, relaxing, and healing. It is especially useful in treating upper back, neck and shoulder tension, as well as hip or sciatic pain.
Most clients find that the deep to medium pressure used by Don is more than satisfying. There is nothing worse than asking for attention and pressure on certain body areas and not getting it. Don prides himself on listening to his client's needs and providing a fabulous massage accordingly. He is always open to constructive direction during sessions too, so that all who come get what they need and want in a therapuetic massage.
