Directions to 834 5th Ave (aka. Shylocks of 5th Ave) in San Rafael are as follows:

From San Francisco take 101 North across GGB to Central San Rafael exit (15 miles from bridge). Go through three stop lights and then turn left on 5th Ave. Stay on 5th Ave. for 3 blocks or so, until you get to Nye St. on the right. Shylocks in on the corner of 5th and Nye and my room is on the 3rd floor.

From North Marin take 101 South to Central San Rafael exit and go through one stoplight to 5th Ave., turn right and go 3 blocks or so, until you get to Nye St. on the right. Shylocks in on the corner of 5th and Nye and my room is on the 3rd floor of Shylocks.

Enter via the steps off 5th Ave or via the main entrance to Shylocks on Nye.
