Communication

We
speak to each other so that we can convey how and what we
are feeling. When we do this, we give our body and
it's feelings a way to move and be expressed. If we
do not give voice to these physical, emotional, or mental
feelings, than suppression results in blocked
energy. This is why we call friends, go to
counselors, talk to relatives, feel the need to scream,
laugh, moan, groan, etc. We need to move energy
when it moves or slows within us.
My
favorite aspect of Traditional Chinese Medicine
treatments is that a portion of every treatment is spent
talking. This time is used to catch up on
how you are feeling, what is going on in your life, and
what your concerns/desires for treatment are. More
time is spent talking if you need it, or less time if you
want to get right in to treatment.
